Spanish skin care brand Germaine de Capuccini has just launched a new anti-aging facial skin care range, Timexpert Wrink·Less, which includes a Pro-Collagen Serum, Pro-Collagen Eyes and Lips, Pro-Collagen Cream, and Pro-Collagen SPF 30 Day Cream, in both Soft and Rich consistencies.
The brand said the collection is based on a patented complex CELASPEP·4TM, which has been formulated with bio-fermented ingredients and peptide fragments that “stimulate the production of biomimetic collagen, relax fine lines with an innovative neuromodulator and revive skin elasticity for a natural plumping effect.”
The range works by restoring skin texture and helping protect from future premature ageing by strengthening the skin barrier against pollution.
Combines marine and plant biotechnology
“CELASPEP·4TM is an innovative patented complex that combines marine and plant biotechnology to obtain the best visible results.” explained Ana Gonzálvez, technical director at Germaine de Capuccini.
“Its unique mechanism modulates facial movements without paralysing, preserving natural expressions and we have managed to act on all types of wrinkles, a consequence of intrinsic and extrinsic aging, as well as improving the hydration and elasticity of the skin,” Gonzálvez said.
Bioferment, exopolysaccharides & bioactive peptides
Active ingredients in CELASPEP·4TM include bioferment, which the brand says smooths fine lines by modulating muscle contractions while still preserving natural expressions and marine compounds exopolysaccharides, which it says “reduce the depth of wrinkles in just 10 minutes.”
The formulation also includes a bioactive peptides concentrate obtained from plants, which it says “helps rebuild the extracellular matrix (ECM) and stimulate the natural production of perlecan, fibrillin, and collagen to keep skin firm, hydrated and elastic.”
For the scent, the brand has chosen a combination of rose, gooseberry, bergamot, amber and jasmine to help create a spa-like experience at home.
